March 10th is Order Day for those of us not going, but they don't mention a specific time. My guess, and it's only a guess, would be around 11 AM Eastern, since that's normal for an event.

Well, what does everyone think of the piece now that we've finally seen it? For me, it's the little things I love: the Toad and Tea Cup photo ops, the detail on the Mad Hatter Hut, the Mr. Toad car spotlighted by the oncoming train. It's all beautiful.

Interesting though - the ride vehicles are usually empty. Both Toad and Alice are occupied by their respective characters.

      OK, so...? What ya think?

The $345.00 price tag initially made me think I might pass for now (with money being tight). However, after seeing the photos, and especially the insert scenes, it will be hard to resist come March 10th.

              Hey Matt,
It's in very small type on the Disney site, but looks like on-line ordering is set for Wednesday, March 3rd.

Thanks for the correction. Eeeks, they don't give us a lot of time.

This I don't mind getting, just gotta figure it and the monorail track at the same time. And we're not done yet since we should get a MSEP wave in April or May and for sure will have House of the Future in July.

                My wallet, it weeps.

My wallet cries too! I was going to order the electrical kit and the Monorail extension at the same time, but the Alice/Mr. Toad release is making it a bit much to handle. It will probably take me a while to wire Main Street, so the Monorail will have to wait a little longer. If only I didn't collect comics, statues, and other assorted stuff...LOL!

Right there with you with the comics, but I also have college classes and books. Thank goodness I shook off the WDCC bug early on!

We'll see about the Monorail extension, but I will probably order it on the same day as Alice/Toad.

I give you credit juggling classes and an Olszewski collection! Did you hear about the prices for Action#1 and Detective Comics #27. While I am still undecided about whether I like independently graded comics or not, I have been picking up key books in CGC grades 9.4/9.6. I've been slowly building glass frames for them and hanging them on my wall.

I was actually a charter member of WDCC, but it became to overwhelming and expensive very quickly. I let go most of my pieces and only have a few in the glass case. While I tend to gravitate toward figure sculpts (as opposed to bulidings), the Main Street series was an instant winner.

Oh how I wish I had $345 in my pocket right now. Oh well. I'm still aiming for the New electrical parade floats later this year...

Just placed my order--very easy on the website. Good for Disney! Shipping is $28 for those who may be interested. The website said they should ship around March 17th. Be sure to check the box if you get one of the discounts (AP, Cast Member, Disney Visa). I'm very excited to see this in person!

Just placed my order this morning. Between this and the electrical kit, it has been an expensive month. It's funny how any new piece announced is always a two edged sword. Happy to be getting a new addition to the collection, but not looking forward to the bill.

I like having Toad and Alice appear in the inserts. Both attractions were designed as though they were being experieced through the eyes of the title character. A truly beautiful piece!
