Nice pictures. Have you seen the US version at DHS? They do the jetsky sequence deleted from the paris version, and it's so cool!

Oh so it was officially deleted. I thought it just wasn't done on my visit.

I remember rumours of Herbie being replaced with Lightning McQueen and Mater.

        Did that ever happen?

At Disney's Hollywood Studios they didn't replace Herbie with Lightning. But I don't know if they did it in Paris.

              Bonjour !

Thanks for your kind comments about my pictures

Herbie is still there. Our Love Bug cannot be replaced!

You can see the Hidden Mickey on the picture number 10. But there is another Mickey, somewhere...

Re: Moteurs... Action! Stunt Show Spectacular

Actually, there was quite a serious accident involving the jetski and the pneumatic bridge that connects the "stage" to the grandstand area during the show's first month of operation. Some people claim that the cost of insurance for the stunt went through the roof as a result and DLRP are unwilling (unable?) to meet the costs. Others claim that the accident was due to a design flaw in the bridge, which would have to be completely rebuilt before the stunt could be safely performed, again at a huge cost.
A pity - I've never seen the stunt performed!

Smells like an urban legend to me.

Having worked with some of the Cast Members (including managers) who opened the attraction back in 2002, I can confirm that the accident really took place. As for the rest of it, you could well be right.
