We tried to catch Luminaria that one season, but the two nights we waited for it it got cancelled because of wind or weather or something of the sort. Kind of lame
I heard the show was pretty good though

I saw Luminaria more than once, what I remember...

The Pre-Show song was AWFUL, and freeky!

The Show itself was OK, unless you got the wind blowing into your face.

But glad it didn't come back, the Christmas Card stuff was seriously lame!

The music is better in the castle lighting show.

The show was not that great - even Disney realized there were too many issues to even bother running the show a 2nd holiday season. Music wasn't good and parts were awful, not much decent area for viewing, and if the slightest breeze started in the wrong direction, the audience got smoked out, literally. the only thing I liked a little from the show, were the hundred of fake tea light candles that rose out of the water at the end.
Critter Country's a mess ev'r since the Country Bears were kicked out. Ya can't cover pooh with honey and 'spect people ta like it.

I enjoyed Luminaria just as much as I enjoyed Believe.

You see, I was seven at the time. I enjoyed DCA just as much as I enjoyed Disneyland. I sat there, transfixed on the entire show, and watched as the tree seemingly rose from the water. It was amazing.

I don't care how bare bones it was. I enjoyed it and am sad they didn't give it a second chance.

Also read that this day in DCA history was the day that Soap Opera Bistro closed.

That place was a blast, especially for soap fans. I met a few GH starts there. The food was pretty good and reasonably priced.
