    On the Dumbo ride..
    The elephants are not holding onto feathers! I thought he needed those to fly ;]

        But, later on in the movie, Dumbo didn't need the feather to fly, right?

            Dumbo realized he could fly without the feather. It's probably something Disney knew good and well when they created it.

              Makes sense, for somebody who can't really remember the movie it made no sense at the time...

              They do hand you those wooden feathers first though aha ;]

                    Is it Disneyland's or WDW's Dumbo ride that has Timothy holding the feather? I've seen both. Or am I imagining things and they both hold whips?

                        WE hold the feathers in order to board and fly! Timothy holds a whip, and Dumbo no longer needs one!

                            I just looked up pictures on Flickr. Disneyland's Timothy hold a whip, and Magic Kingdom's Timothy holds the feather.
