If Disney dropped the Narnia franchise because of poor sales on Prince Caspian's part, this means that small rumor of adding a 3-D film to DCA won't be coming true, right?

That is the one rumor I never wanted to come true, and this just seals that nail in the coffin.

I was personally never really into Narnia, but making a 3D film in a theme park that celebrates California would have never worked, so I am assuming they will drop any ideas for Narnia based attractions altogether.

hmmm they could still play if an idea if they wanted. But saying how quick they were to dump Narnia they probably in the midst of searching for the next big thing. "rebound" anyone?

I don't see your reasoning. Narnia is a movie, therefore it fits into Hollywood Pictures Backlot.

'Narnia' did quite well for Disney (the 1st film $745+million & 'Caspian' $419+million at the boxoffice alone, millions more in merchandising, etc.) and now they're moving on.

Another factor in the company's decision probably had quite a bit to do with Walden Media's fairly-sizable internal changes this past year, see:

Who wants to bet that Disney will be looking at some of Brad Bird's San Francisco from the upcoming '1906' or Andrew Stanton's 'John Carter of Mars' for some 3D attractions down the road?

Had either of the two 'Narnia' films actually been made in Hollywood this would make even more sense.

But Hollywood is the place where the movies are. It's the embodiment of that movie feeling. Which is why I'm certain anything movie related would fit in, just like over at DHS in Florida.

So what you are saying is any movie fits well in the Hollywood backlot?

Now before any of you jump on me on this let me say this. I do like Star Wars and some of the Indain Jones movie. But to me both of them don't fit in a Disney park or anything with Disney and I never really care for the Narnia movie so I'm glad Disney has drop them. I know both Star Wars and Jones need a home and it's nice that Disney took them in but I still don't like having them in the Disney family. And Luke from what I saw Narnia wasn't flim in Hollywood it was done in New Z.land. so it's not Hollywood.

That logic for keeping it out of HPB is almost as weak as saying "It's a movie...so it fits." It's still a Hollywood picture. That would rule out any movie that was shot on location, or anywhere outside of the city of Hollywood. You'd have to kick out Indy from DHS, Monsters from DCA (not that I agree with its placement there to begin with...), etc. (Don't mean to sound like I'm jumping on you over that...just thought it worthy of noting.)

Portions were also filmed in Eastern Europe. There's a great bonus feature on the 'Caspian' DVD about how the cast and crew descended on the quaint Slovenian town of Bovec to shoot the bridge battle scenes. The river valley they were in was just gorgeous.

Also of note, apparently they already closed the doors on the Narnia walkthrough in Florida and I think pretty much the day after the decision was made public, Disneyland dropped the Narnia pre-parade once again.
