  • [Chat] Yet another reason for me not to like FNSV...

So I went to the park last night with some friends for a special event, and for the first time I went on Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage sitting on an end seat.

On multiple occasions I saw the projections cut out too early...

Now, per say this isn't the only attraction at the park that does something like this...but under those circumstances, it's not a character that suddenly disappears, but some sort of general special effect, and I feel a little more forgiving on those than actual characters just disappearing.

I don't know. It's a more minor complaint I have as compared to the others for the rest of the attraction, but I was curious as to what you all think.

I've never seen that happen before.

Me neither. I've had the last seat a few times and never saw a gap in the story or dialogue.

Yep, I got that too once. Last seats the projections stop while you are there. Another disappointment because it leaves less to look at. Not that there really was anything before.

6'4 230lbs... just being IN the sub is a complaint for me... Then I somehow contort my body into some strange acrobatic pose just to look out the porthole for a "view"... between the aching knees and the crushed spleen it tends to drain away the "joy" of being in a sub! Loosing the projection isn't as big of a deal as loosing feeling in most of my limbs!

I find the whole subject distasteful...

One of the FEW times I have ever been disappointed by DL -
(Maybe because my expectations for subs were so high; I was so thrilled to see them again.)

            Alas!

            So, I feel your pain.

I experienced this once when I sat through the voyage at the very end. It was a little weird.

I was at the seat right next to the steps down.

It was a bad seat, to say the least. The dialogue didn't match up, I ended up missing a lot of the action. The characters would talk then when I rolled around to catch them they were just kinda... swimming there.

Kina like when we were late through the dinosaurs, and they all just kinda stopped.

I've never experinced that before. I know my dad had to get the last seat, because he had a spontaneous anxeity attack after he got into the sub, so i switeched seats with him; He was fin when we got int the show building though.

Out of curiousity, have you ever requested to use the MOO because of your dimensions? If so, have you ever been denied entry?

Yeah, like the SBWT, there's an alternative viewing area with an HD screen that shows the experience.
