If it's running; you just walk up to the conductor and ask politely.

I think that the only thing you have to do is ask for it

As covered in the other recent Lilly Belle threads, you just have to ask.

You can ask either at the Main St. station, or at City Hall.

It helps if you are celebrating a special occassion, but that is not required. It all depends on the availability of the conductors and (sometimes seemingly) their mood at the moment.

Be sure and get your commemorative tickets stamped too!

I'm not sure you can get it "stamped," but you may be able to get it punched. Some of the conductors have punches that will punch a little steam locomotive shaped hole in the ticket, indicating that it's been "cancelled." Younger guests my not realize that punching tickets in this manner was actually the way the conductors cancelled train tickets in the old days. Each conductor's punch made a different-shaped hole.

I'm sure there are steps....or maybe a ramp of some sort.

Oh, c'mon! I wasn't the only one thinking that!

                          ^^^^^

It used to be that way. Club members, VIP's, people in the know, etc...

Now that the novelty has worn off, it's a free for all. Well pretty much.
