It is an event called Mickey's Halloween Treat. It is hosted at Disney's California Adventure on the dates of October 21, 22, 27, 28, 29, 30 from 7:30 PM - 10:30 PM. It is like a special halloween party where they have trick or treating, activities, and a lot of music too. Supposedly according to Mouseplanet, all the rides should be open too.

Most likely because of the date being on a Monday..mondays aren't BIG days to bring in crowds. That's why they put them on weekends.

If this is true, I think it sucks that Disney is making this an AP only event and not allowing the tickets to be sold to the general public. I'm visiting at the end of October--for the first time in five years--and was looking forward to getting tickets for the event. I'd hate to think out of town guests mean nothing to them (especially those of us who've already paid a decent chunk of change for a vacation package).

For those of you who already have your tickets, good for you. But if you're the only people getting them, that's truly unfair to the rest of us.

It's not something they can control. They might have saved more tickets(probably) and have simply sold out of pre-sale AP tickets. Even if they sold "general public" there's nothing to stop APs from buying them. Unless they made you show a normal day's admission to a park and forced APs to buy a normal ticket if they wanted to buy a "general public" ticket. But that would suck for people who came just for that who aren't APs.

How busy do you guys think the park will be? If they do have the attractions open, waiting in line to ride a ride like Soarin might take up most of the night.

Question...this is a costume event right? Does anyone know the extent of the restrictions on costumes? Really I mean as far as Disney characters go,cause normally adults can't dress up for security reasons. I'm gonna be Snow White and I'm not too modest...I'm a darn good Snow White
