  • [Question] Certificate of Compliance?

I've seen them, you've seen them.

Those signs on every attraction saying

"Documents related to the Certificate of Compliance for this attraction may be viewed at City Hall in Town Square"

    What does this mean?

It means just what it says...

      ^^^^^

Yeah, it's like those elevator signs that say the operating permit/inspection reports are available to view in whatever office they list.

Just a formality for our safety.

Nothing for the public to be concerned about...

I could be wrong, but I believe a state bill was passed a few years back requiring amusement parks with permanent amusement attractions to be able to provide to guests, information related to any accidents on such attractions.

Then again I could be wrong and I've never once asked.
