  • [Question] Single rider lines?

Anyone have a list of the current rides that have single rider lines?
On crowded days like today, it's the only way to go!!

      Re: Single rider lines?

Single Rider lines are new to me as of three days ago, and they're my new best friend. But what makes me angry is when people abuse them- they take a group of twelve people through and split up from there. I'm okay if you take two or three people in, because it doesn't back up the line and it is close to the original intent of the line, but some people take advantage of them. SR lines I used were Soarin' Over California and Indiana Jones (the latter is quicker because of the ride system). I noticed SR lines for Splash Mountain and Toy Story Mania (surprise). I'm guessing ToT has one, but I'm not sure.

TOT doesn't have a single rider, but it has a fastpass.

It doesn't bother me as much, they will eventually be split up. That's one of the rules, it's written on the pass. What peeves me is when a group get a SR Pass and go through it, but merge with the line, tha tway they only wait 5 or 10 minutes. For example, on Indy, SR merges with the line until they get to the elevator, but they don't stop there, they keep going up the stairs. It really makes me mad,

It's been there at least since Gumball Rally 2 in January 2008, since I saw it then when I was there.

Ask the CM at the entrance to an attraction that offers it. Sometimes you will get an actual pass, like at Screamin'.

Most rides have a SR line that one can just go without a pass. Others, you have to acquire it at the eentrance and then go through the SR Line, like Screamin', Grizzley, Indy, and Soarin'.

I'm still peeved that theres only 2 in all of Disneyland that has SR, couldn't they put one in space, BTMRR, and the subs, those seem the most logical to me.

I can't remember exactly, but I think it's to the far left of the entrance. There is a sign for it I know.

Another DCA regular might know better than someone like me who only gets there only 2-3 times a year.

It's directly to the left of the main entrance. You walk along the outside perimeter of the Maliboomer site, and up a staircase to the loading area. However, I've had it where I had to wait quite some time to get on, especially if there is a little bit of a line in the SR line (like 3-5 people). But, it's there, nonetheless.

And it's been there since at least 2007.

Just keep in mind that not all Single Rider lines are created equal. While all of them will save you tremendous time, some are more effective than others.

For Splash Mountain, you can board with very, very, very little wait. For California Screamin', you may find 5 other single riders in line with you but the wait is still minimal. For TSMM and Indy, it can take up to 15 or even 20 minutes to get on. On Indy, you still have to watch the safety video and they'll often keep you in that room for 2 cycles of the video.
