  • Trip Report PanTheMan's all to short, Birthday Visit.

On 09-09-09 I turned 4-4! As I was in SoCal for some Bizz I took Disney up on their free day ($25 upgrade to a Park Hopper!) and the following day after my appointment, went to the D23 expo.

The park was PERFECT on 9-9! Longest line was 20 minutes, Sadly Space Mountian and The Mark Twain were down, but everything else was terrific!

On the 10th I got to the D23 Expo around 1, and it was nice on Day 1, because of the low attendance I was able to do just about all i wanted to do and see in the 4 hours i had left before the exhibits closed. Dropped in on the MC booth, Dusty said Business was good which was nice to hear, met many artists and preformers including Jim Shore who autographed a piece for me. Overall a GREAT Time!

I think the woman is Mary Costa, it says on her nametag....., she is the singing voice of Aurora in Sleeping Beauty.

The man, I think is Olseweski (sp?)

Cool stuff. Looks like the D23 expo was a Disney lover's paradise.
