  • [Question] I need a mickey sorcerer hat

So we are heading down to DL this Sunday. YYYEEAAAHHH!!!!!

My mother in law was making my son and I Mickey Sorcerer customes for the trick or treat party, but she is having a hard time figuring out how to make the hat come together. I have seen the hats for sale at DL...does anyone know the price? I am at the point that I may just buy the hats, but if they are in the normal price range for disney swag, I may still need to try and figure out how to make the hats myself.

Anyone know how much one of the Sorcerer's hats cost?

    Thanks for your help!!

Its been a while since I priced them, but I think most of the hats run around $30 and up on average.

But here's a pattern for a wizard's hat, in pdf file format.

Thanks for the link...I found the same one in my search of google! I am unsure if she can figure the pattern out, but my lovign wife is goign to give it a try anyways...I figured that the price was around $30, but I don't want to spend that much for a hat. SO back to the cutting board I guess. Thanks again!

 Yeah google is where I found the pattern! It was the only one I could find online that you didn't have to buy from Simplicity or Butterick or one of those! Good luck with getting the hat together! Sounds like great costumes! You could post pictures after you get them done! We'd love to see them!

If I remember correctly I paid 30 for the hat with lights in it and it is 20 or so for the one without lights. Not sure if thats the exact price but in that ballpark for both.

I know I bought one prob. 4 yrs ago and it was around $30
but that one lights up. Who knows know what they cost now.
I even went to Disneyland.com and clicked on purchase park items and the only hats that came up with mickey ears and mickey Santa.
