  • Photo: Crowded even in DCA last week.

The crowds were back in force last week. Here's a picture of the Hollywood backlot area in DCA on Thursday, February 26th 2005.

Were they understaffed with unexpected crowds? Or were they expected?

I think they could have used a few more people at the entrance gates for both parks. Of course, having so many rehabs in progress didn't help, but I don't think they could have expected this many people to show up. The CMs are really excellent at handeling adverse conditions. They are top notch and really make the park a great place to visit.

All those happy people...looking for something to do.

I was at DL on Thursday and it was crowded as well. The hotel Restaurants were jammed and the lobby of the Grand California was a Zoo. My wife swore off coming back as you couldn't get in much of anywhere without a big wait. It was aour last chace to use the APs before they expire in March. I guess it's me and the kids next year!

Yep disneyland's hours were extended to 10pm as well. The reasoning I have for the large crowds was out of state schools being on a 1 week vacation for presidents day, plus thursday was the first day with no rain following 6 really rainy days. Today was a zoo as well, in both parks.

Ski week was the reason for the crowd. Schools took off Friday through Wed at my school.

It's the restless people, low class crowds that come around every now and then, and PACKED walkways that make it hell. Hopefully they weren't understaffed because I have been there when they were expecting light crowds and didn't have enough people to work...it's not pleasent:botox:.

Rodeo Vaction for all Tucson schools, managment needs to start paying attention to school schedules in Arizona a little better. Same thing happened last year during spring break which is at a different time here than in SoCal,I made the mistake of being amongst the crowds that week and everything was understaffed and the park ended up extending hours

Ski week? Care to explain. Us in Virginia don't have that...

The Plan: Close all the good rides in Disneyland, and raise the attendence for DCA! (Space, Splash, subs, peoplemover/Rocket rods, skyway, etc)

If the crowds were like that in DCA, that ment Disneyland should have been jam-packed, unless of course pressler was right all along

NASCAR was in town, and Thursday is their normal day off, I think that had a lot to do with the larger than average crowds...
