Was there a specific official day that Disney's California Adventure became Disney California Adventure? Also will the original dedication stay the same or after the renovation is done will the park have a new dedication?

Actually, Eisner gave a dedication speech. "To all who believe in the power of dreams - welcome..." There was a big ceremony before the park officially opened in front of its gates.Comment

According to wiki, The name change was officially announced on May 28, 2010.

it was definitely official on park maps june 11. i don't know if maps before then had the new logo, but it was there when i went on the 11th.flower gleam & glow...
