  • Looking for historic photos of Disneyland

Are there any good websites with photos pre-1985 of Disneyland on the web?

    Yep... http://yesterland.com/
You can think I'm wrong, but that's no reason to quit thinking.

I agree. I've had a lot of fun exploring it.

Thanks for the link. I've been to the Yesterland website before - great site, but i'm looking for Disneyland in general and not just extinct rides.

I've got a book with a number of historic photos, and actually I'm looking for more info on this book. I'll start another thread about it.

I'm eager to find more historical photos of the park, too.

Stalking is when two people go for a long romantic walk together but only one of them knows about it.

That photo looks much more recent than the driving of the last spike. The characters are much too new looking. Wasn't Mickey really scrawny early on? Also, that looks like a pic from the train bridge over Bear Country, doesn't it? With the tunnel through HM and the HM ride building in the background? And you can see some construction. But it can't be construction of Splash Mountain b/c they removed the train tracks completely during that (I have a couple hundred pics of SM construction that I plan to post soon).

Anyway, I could be totally off, can anyone confirm when that pic was taken?

Hmm, I think I'm going to get a double post out of this, sorry, but there was someone posting at the same time as me and I want to reply.

I truly miss the good ole days of the parking lot. I've mentioned this before but the sheer size of the lot was wonderful. Taking the monorail and looking for my car was a great game when I was young. And walking back to the car at 2am after a long day was fun (I know I'm weird)!
