  • Small World Holiday Clock Projection....

Just wondering if anyone has the video of the new little projection show they do at Small World Holiday after the clock chimes. I was lucky to be there when it opened and I want to show it to a friend of mine, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.

It's on CastTV, but I don't know how to get my hands on a copy of those.

If I did, I would get copies every week, just for the heritage and history segments!

I got stills from Thanksgiving evening, but one of the three projectors (left side) was not working.

They still have not fixed that projector! Damm, that was like three weeks ago that thing went out.

I am sure the bulb in the projector is thousands of dollars and that is probably why they didn't replace it. An ordinary projector bulb costs about 500 dollars but I am sure with their very powerful projectors it is a little more.

I viewed the fireworks and the every-15-minutes projection on the day before thanksgiving, and I did notice that left-most projector having trouble. It went on and off intermittently. Annoying. But, still, I can't get over how great of an idea it is, when it works. If anyone can provide a video of it, I would be a very happy chap.

Here is a good example of the entire facade with the projector that needs TLC...

I too would like to get ahold of some video of it. We were there a week before Thanksgiving and thought it was pretty cool. I would have hated to been the poor slob who had to line up the drawings in just the right place. It's pretty hard to describe to folks who haven't been to the park in awhile. Video would definitely do the trick.

Oh my. I knew the projector wasn't working, but I didn't know it was doing that.

Someone needs to sprinkle a little TLC here, no? We can't get a real good video until it's fixed, Matt.

Woot! Thanks Morrigoon. ^_^ I hope they continue this every holiday season and improve upon it...maybe change up the music or change the images. Definetely fix any bugs with the projectors.

Vic and I were there the Thursday before Thanksgiving and everything was working perfectly. WOW! What a show! It's disturbing to hear about the projector on the blink. There was a time when that would have been remedied within 24 hours no matter what the cost. Walt didn't run a park with broken or burnt out stuff.
"Yesterday, a man walked up to me and said, 'Isn't it a shame that Walt Disney couldn't be here to see this?' and I said, "He did see this, that's why it's here."

Do they do a special show for the lighting of the holiday lights when the sun goes down? If so does anyone have a video of that? :beg:
