  • [Game] The Future of Imagineering Season 1, Project 2

"Here is adventure. Here is romance. Here is mystery. Tropical rivers - silently flowing into the unknown. The unbelievable splendor of exotic flowers...the eerie sound of the jungle...with eyes that are always watching."-Walt Disney

Welcome to Adventureland! Home of the classic Jungle Cruise, an amazing Indiana Jones attraction (that is in desperate need of a refurb), and an empty theater. Well, that empty theater is the focus of this project. Aladdin's Oasis is barely ever open and is basically taking up space. We want you to create an attraction to take over this area, it could be a new show or a new ride (space permitting). It's due on the 24th, next Sunday. i will not be judging this project but the others are still. the contestants are the same. Remember concept art is worth +1 point limit 6 pieces. good luck!

Interesting! I've still got family issues to deal with, but hopefully I'll be able to come up with something!

I think I'll have to skip this one. I'm allowed to come back for the 3rd or 4th one if I miss this one right?

Could anyone provide an overhead map of the Aladdin's Oasis space so I know how much room I'm dealing with here if I decide to put an attraction there? Seems small but I may be wrong.

^not really seeing as we would have to eliminate someone and it would be unfair just to hop back in. if you drop out, you are the elimination this round

Yeah... this one is going to be difficult, since I don't think there is any way for us to really know just how much space there is for an attraction. And I really don't have any perspective because when I went to Disneyland for the first time that attraction had already been long closed.
              So. Zetta. SLOW!

Hope this helps a little bit. I copied it from google maps. I know the picture is kinda small. Don't know why.

EDIT: Huh. That's weird. The picture I uploaded is formatted a bit weird on this forum. Guess I don't know the proper why to post a picture anymore.

There is very little space according to Bing Maps. I don't see how it's possible to add a dark ride. Even a flat ride is a bit of a stretch.

Not necessarily. Some heavy construction would be required but building underground may be plausible...

Thanks Stitch, this helps quite a bit. its still difficult to tell exactly how much room is back there, but I does tell me what kind of attraction I will be aiming for. (Not telling you yet though, I am sneaky )

Is it too late to join in? I would love to play.

Edit: I just saw when the thread was started. Lol. I'm stupid.

I guess I could find time to play then.
