  • [Pictures] The Interior Of The Actual Carthay Circle Theater Today

With the amount of excitement you folks are displaying towards the recent Carthay Circle Theatre miniature over at DCA, I thought you might like to see what the original looks like today. I visit the building that sits on the site several times each year. These pics were taken this morning on my cell phone in the third floor lobby, or roughly where the old balcony would've been.

I remember seeing a few movies in the original way back in the 20th Century, and it sure as heck didn't look like this!

When I first read the title I had to second guess myself because I thought the CCT was no longer there, until I read your post haha. Anyway, it's kind of surreal to think what was in that buildings place prior to.

I'm sure the CCT at DCA will not disappoint.

Nice pictures of the third floor lobby area. Did you take any of the exterior of the building where the theater used to be?
