  • Opening Day Crowds & Weekend Traffic Mess

Here is a shot today from the Goodyear Blimp on KABC in Los Angeles, as they were about to let people in the park.

I wonder how many of these people called off sick for the Kings parade yesterday and again for DCA madness today.

This is crazy. There is currently a 6 1/2 wait to ride RSR, Fastpass line is 2 hours and single rider line is closed for the day. I really can't imagine waiting that long for a 5 minute (albiet amazing) ride. As one tweeter said, you could fly to Epcot, ride soarin and head back to the airport for your return flight in the time it will take you to ride RSR today.

I wish I could have done that, but I was out of town last weekend.

We were lucky enough to get in for the Free AP preview on Monday. Rode RSR 3 times, Luigi's once, Maters twice.

I wonder how much luck we will have Tuesday for the AP early entry. Hoping to go straight to RSR's again, knock that area out and enjoy what should be shorter lines everywhere else in the park. It appears that Soarin was a walk on earlier.

I really want to know what the lines are like inside the stores -- especially the tiny stores like Curios and Ramone's.

This is our hope too. We are doing the preview on the 24th.

Same here. And I thought it was a little crowded at the 8am preview on June 9th, that was nothing compared to this.

Just came out of Ramone's a little earlier, there was around a 5-10 minute wait toget in. it was also packed inside and we waited in a 15 minute line to make a purchase. It's been worse.
I believe my future must be brighter than my past. Without that belief, I'm just waiting to die.
