  • [Idea] Bring back the Villains Store in Fantasyland!

Not sure if this has been posted before, but it will be very cool if Disneyland brought back the Villains Store that used to be entering fantasyland... why did this store close in the first place?

    thoughts?

does anyone have pics of the merchandise that they used to sell there?

    Thank you !

Ulitimately I agree. I would far prefer more stores being unique in their offerings.

Like many stores they had to be generalized to showcase the bulk, best selling merchadise.

I remember I used to just LOVE Merlin's Magic Shop, just inside the Fantasyland entrance.

Agreed. I always thought part of the allure with Disney shopping was being able to migrate from store to store and find different merchandise. Now most of the shops have a lot of the same stuff.

Agreed. Last time I was there a cast member said the closest thing to the Villains Store was the NOS store "Le Bat en Rouge" because they sometimes have similar stuff but no, they really don't. Although the Villains Store wasn't my bag, I always had to stop in to look and noticed a lot of people in there every time I went. It seemed to be a pretty good photo-op for the more gothy types so yay for that.

When I was there in October they had relocated Le Bat en Rouge into the Pieces of Eight store.
