  • [Pictures] Happy Birthday, Disneyland!

A day late (or could we say this is the first official public day), but Happy Birthday, Disneyland!

In honor of Disneyland's 58th Birthday, I've scanned some memorabilia I have filed away. I uploaded it so that more people could enjoy it...

    First up, a 1959 Disneyland booklet: https://app.box.com/s/p9z3b902nwy4sw1aiabs

    Next, a 1962 Disneyland booklet: https://app.box.com/s/mpzeekbanz6vd3q1bs6k

Finally, how about some 1959 tickets and ephemera? https://app.box.com/s/kho25xo0vnqyssq6aim8

        Here's the next few.

First, a Disneyland Hotel Bag from the late '80s or early '90s: https://app.box.com/s/b2h23dcem9966bcrg2uq

The Haunted Mansion landscaping notes: https://app.box.com/s/yk9psr2i0ov3n3o62vhy

The various forms of transportation at Disneyland required different tickets. Here is a sampling: https://app.box.com/s/489snstwlx4grunamzua

Finally, the piece that is going to take me ages to scan (so I'm doing it in parts) - Disney memos and notes from various points in the company's history: https://app.box.com/s/rigflczahuheagxq4vzh

The challenge starts now - I want to see someone reconstruct Disney's studio office!

Thank you for posting. These are great memories. One problem though; the booklets have the same link. Both go to the 59 booklet.

Fixed! Why didn't anyone say anything earlier?

How odd - the file extension is right, but the redirect keeps going to 1959...

                  Let's try this: <embed src="https://app.box.com/embed/a46o75p5lxvhbny.swf" width="466" height="400" wmode="opaque" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always">

                  Or this: https://app.box.com/embed/a46o75p5lxvhbny.swf

Thanks for sharing. Life is short. All that's left are memories in an old shoe box. Happy birthday, Disneyland, indeed, I've been a guest since 1955, and still a fan.
