  • Trip Report This is what makes Disneyland Magical

I often visit Disneyland for lunch and an hour or two of fun.

Yesterday, I stopped at 2:30 to watch Musical Chairs with Alice and the Hatter at Coke corner.

As they were setting up I noticed a little girl in a stroller wearing an Alice dress heading down Main Street towards the exit. I ran over to her mother and asked if she wanted to play with Alice and the Mad Hatter. She said they had been looking for them all day and never found them. I pointed to Alice and said go ask to play.

As she pushed the stroller towards Alice, the Little Alice saw her, jumped from the moving stroller, and fell flat on her face. Alice saw this and knelt down. The Ltl Alice jumped up and ran full speed into her arms and hugged her for a long time, then explained that she hurt her knee. This little four year old girl was not just wearing an Alice dress, she was an extreme fan. She knew the film forwards and backwards.

The game had a lot kids (12) and she was the first one out..... OH NO. But she played Alice as well as any cast member. When asked if she had a talent or a joke, she shouted out "A Joke"

Knock Knock, Who's there?, She leaned towards the Hatter, pointed to him, cut across her throat and said "off with your Head". The Hatter and Alice were shocked, and the Hatter was going on and on about how rude that was. She motioned to him come back and said "Relax, It's just a joke"

She stayed and helped run the game. Showing the UnWinners where to stand, and even helped out with another joke when needed. She Boogied Down dancing with the Hatter, and discussed several scenes with Alice. "Alice, remember when you fell down the rabbit hole, .....?

After the game both the Hatter and Alice came over to her and her mother and asked them to follow them across the street, they wanted to meet her some more. But her Mother loaded her in the stroller and headed out towards the exit!

What a wonderful show...... Only at Disneyland

Through the eyes of children one can experience the Magic of a being child at Disneyland. I am reminded of moments with my daughter as we have visited. Thank you for sharing such a magical moment. dMom

                              oh my gosh, how sweet!
i totally understand where the the little girl was comming from,
because when i was around that age going to disneyland i always would look for alice with my aunt. Alice was my absolute favorite, and yet i could never seem to find her.
and one day we finally ran into her on main street i was about 5, and i was sooooo amazed by being in front of her (or what i thought it was really her lol ) i couldnt speak! i was speechless! and her exact words to me were "it takes two to conversate!"
To all who come to this Happy Place.... WELCOME ºoº
