[Question] When You're Away From DL, Where in the Park Do you Dream of Being?

I get to DL about four times a year, but sometimes when I'm at work, especially during a stressful day, I think about how much happier I would be if I were at the park. And when that happens I always picture myself on the Mark Twain. Perhaps because these thoughts are stress-generated, the idea of a slow, relaxing ride around the Rivers of America seems even more appealing.

When you dream of being at DL, where do you envision yourself?

In a remodeled Tomorrowland.



And I'm not exactly refering to hanging out with my favorite villains like Darth Vador or super heroes, like Iron Man.

Something in the vein of what Disney did in 1967.

Behind the scenes, designing and building stuff. Not original ideas or the artistic part, I'm not good at that, but if I'm told what a machine is supposed to do, I'll build it.

i usually daydream of main street, or NOS.

I tend to think of the more relaxing, old-fashioned parts of the park, such as NOS, Main Street, or Frontierland. On the Rivers of America is one of the "happy places" of my brain.

Well, if it's a stressful day, then my happy place is in a deck chair on the Mark Twain cruising the Rivers of America with an iced tea in my hand and some jazz music playing in the backgrounds somewhere.

Lots of very good (and inspiring) answers so far.
Personally I like to be enjoying a meal at the French Market while sitting out next to the railing. This spot gives one an incredible view and the atmosphere is incredible.

Most often on Pirates, particularly during the Bayou section and through the drops. Love the atmosphere.

Walking around Fantasyland on the way to the next ride, or somewhere near the Pirates of the Caribbean.

i usually let my my wander away to looking at the reflections that paradise bay give off. It's usually Mickey's fun wheel that's most memorable .

I always find myself thinking about hanging out by the castle or on Pirates with my camera in one hand and a Dole whip in the other. Main Street would be third.
