  • [Question] MNSSHP Weapon Question!

So, this year I'm thinking about attending Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party as a demon hunter from Diablo 3. However, I had the fun idea to mod some NERF Rebelle crossbows to make one-hand demon hunter bows. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if this would be allowed, as I know that they don't allow 'weapons that could be easily mistaken as real'. I'd be modding them to look something like this:

Would this be too realistic? I wouldn't bring any NERF darts with me, they'd stay unloaded the whole time. Would Disney allow something like these into the park? Thanks!

My gut instinct says no but this is just me guessing.

I sincerely doubt it would be allowed and frankly, I would hope not.
But you did a really nice job creating it!

They might not let it in because it can fire a projectile. Even if you showed up with it empty they might not want it. If you're prepared to be asked to put it either back in your car or in a locker, I would bring it. We brought a piantball pistol that was modified to look like a Star Wars smuggler blaster but we had to put it in a locker because there was too much of a risk of someone in the park having a problem, not security. They thought it was awesome and after we showed them it couldn't fire anymore, EVER, they wanted to let us in with it but it came down to the possibility that a guest would complain.

Very nice work! While uber cool, it would likely be a trip back to the car to stow it. Unlike a pocket knife you can't discreetly leave it in your pocket.

kids please leave your pocket knives at home.

to the OP your weapon looks cool but I would think it;s not allowed in the park since it looks somewhat real and can fire projectiles.

Are you a member of the RPF? That looks great!

Also wondering if your a member of RPF. It's an absolutely beautiful piece of work, but I agree with the others that they probably won't let it in. I know that when I go to the Halloween parties as Obi-Wan they always let me in if I have ONLY the lightsaber hilt, but they won't let me in if I have the blade attached. They said it could be used as a weapon then. No problem... I just wear my hilt and go and have a great time. But they are pretty particular in what they will let in.
