Ask Disneykat about the magical experience we had with the 4% service fee added to our bill.

I hate to jump on the bandwagon, but we've had terrible service and the food was waaaaayyyyyy overpriced.

I will have to say the window service is a much better value, but took eons to actually get the order. <shrug>

I like them too. Mushroom empanadas sound delish! I have to admit though my favorite thing is the mexicone from the walk up window and the Prickly Pear Margarita from the bar

I love TJ's. One of the few restaurants I will still actually want to eat at at the DLR.

I've had bad service once or twice in the 30+ times I've eaten there.

I agree. We thought we'd try them out a few weeks ago and the food was terrible! Service was just ok. We had gone to the bar a few weeks prior to that and I must say that the Coconut Mo's are awesome. At least they were that night. When we went back for dinner, they were sadly lacking - probably the difference in the bartenders but even so, I was disappointed.

their happy hour food used to be one of the best food deals around. we love the food there, but now can't bring ourselves to pay full price!

For real. Do a search on Tortilla Jo's...
I eaten there three or so times, and it's always been blech. Bad food, bad service, that mysterious fee. No thanks!!

Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
                            It was pain
                            Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Oh God. DO we have to go into how the "mysterious fee" was stated in the contract again?
