  • What could they replace Remember with???

This is going to be hard to beat with the total popularity of the show what could the replace it with next ?????????
I think its going to be a short show that wont pack the crowds like this one has so lets see what they do after the 50th.
    What are your thoughts???

Whatever they replace it with won't be half as good as Remember. I guess I'll be watching Fantasmic more often after the fireworks are gone. I really hope they keep it longer then October.

I doubt they will replace it for many years. I mean it really doesn't mention the 50th aniversary that much and they could just edit the voice over a bit if they wanted to. I bet they keep it for at least 5 more years. Its a great show!!!

Yeah and I'm sure Julie Andrews won't mind redoing the recording of her narration to exclude the 50th anniversary mentions. It's nice that it pays homage to all the great rides that are in Disneyland. What is so bad about keeping it up? I always get chills watching it in front of the Partners statue and hearing the part with Walt's dedication speech and seeing Tinker Bell fly down from the Matterhorn. Just classic.

that true or they could replace the parts where she speaks with more sound bits from wishes. This seems like a good topic lets keep the ball rolling.

It's just unfortunate that some people actually don't like this show and find it too long and/or dull. I think that the time is perfect. It's about 17 minutes long. It perfectly showcases the most popular and beloved rides without going overboard.

Re: What could they replace Remember with???

I'd imagine if Disney couldnt get Julie Andrews to re-dub the voice-over, they'd slap in a generic Gimini Cricket voice over (or possibly Mickey, or another character), similar to "Wishes" at WDW.

I'm sure the pollution credits the fireworks show eats up and the cost of the show in itself is causing a major drain on TDA's budgets, so I wouldn't expect the show to keep going... And I'm sure theres a huge demand for the Christmas fireworks to return, so October would be a perfect time for Disney to ditch the current show along with the rest of the 50th. Put in Fantasy in the Sky for a few filler weeks until November comes in and then bring in the Christmas fireworks.

Ehhh...I thought the previous XMAS shows were dull. Too similiar to Believe IMO. The best part was the end with the snow.

Well, the show did share the same name as "Believe"

I do agree though, I didn't find either Believe or Believe in Holiday Magic to be too great. I never thought twice about skipping them when I was at Disneyland. Remember, on the other hand - well, I never mind seeing this show, and if I'm walking while its going on, I'm constantly looking to the sky as I'm walking humming along with the music. Such a great show, it never gets old.

I agree. But I never miss Remember if I'm in the park. And I've seen it in a few places around Main Street and the best spot will always be in front of HUB with the Partners statues in view. I've heard watching it in front of iaSW is neat too but I don't have the heart to watch it there. Just wouldn't be the same.
