  • Andrew's Fall Break Trip Report!

So, my very first trip report really serves as more of an update, but you'll get the idea.
    Enjoy!

First up, Sunday. There were several soon-to-be-Padawans training with a theatrically good Jedi Master.

*waves hand*You will all find my jokes funny....

And the Darth Maul really has fun with his role. I'd be terrified if I was of the right age.

    Roar... bring it on, kiddies.

I really think the Training Academy would be more fun if the Master had a duel with Vader and Maul, before being overcome. He'd then call for the padawans to show that there is "strength in numbers" and to "ACTIVATE!!" and finally drive away the dark side.
    Well, whatever. It's cute.

Over at the Village Haus, someone's dream was about to come true, with Table service! I saw this repeated the next day (at a different time, of course.)

You know you want to sit here.

I don't really like the HMH once you get past the Stretching Room. It's great up until the end of that, then... well, nah.

Did we say haunted??? We meant bright, loud, and florescent.

Over by Splash Mountain, I can't decide if this is new, or old and defunct. I kind of hope it's new, but something tells me it's from the days of the wacky Fastpass.... let me know, please!

Zip-a-dee-do-dah, zip-a-dee-ay, someone either fix me or just take me away...

Gracey's favorite mural was covered Sunday. Who knows why...

    Shh... I'm not really here!

Small World does have a great fireworking expereince. You don't get every element of the show, but you DO get fireworks right next to your face.

Hello, I am a happy, inspirational fire-being. Who are you?

And, um, you can't see if very well, but it's an oar floating in the river. I was really hoping this sucker would catch on fire, but no such luck.

If only HMH was this dark...

What's that I see? Someone at the Rocket Rods station?

I have just spread hope to the world. So... coffee anyone?

Oh, and, yeah, you saw that right. Ranked 5th!

THAT'S the way to do it!

    A new bridge, perhaps?

    Just tryyyyy to cross me.

Columbia got stuck. It took a few minutes, but they got her back. A canoe got to go around her, though.

Shouldn't have eaten all those pizzas, should I?

Someone is going to be in for a surprise when they find that that new sword in their collection left the rest of itself in a wall somewhere.

    Um... what?

Oh, well here he is. All scratched up... what did they do all weekend?

When yer boat stops, please be steppin' out to yer right.

Star Tours has new seat straps. Did they have old ones, or are these a new addition? (Cabin 1)

Pulled from the left, snapped into right, tugged?

And some of the Big Thunder trains are sporting newer, cooshier seats! This was before IM LOCO tried to steal my wallet.

    Gimme your dough.

I will get my night shots perfected, one day.

Whee! Does anyone know what I'm refrencing?

Aww... look who's out hanging out with the big boys! This guy was sitting out by the tram storage area. Yeah... just sitting.

    Word. I'm a tram.

That concludes my photo update. Suggestions? Comments?
    Hope you enjoy!

I love the pic of the old tram. My childhood memories of riding those from the Disneyland Hotel over to Disneyland in the morning all came rushing back. We never did the parking lot tram. My parents were always the people that were in the parking lot so early that it was a short walk.

Nice update. All the pics and comments were great.
Check out my new Disney Blog here. What it lacks in quality it makes up with... Well, nothing I guess.

The tram was located right next to where they store the trams for the evening, near the northwest corner of Pinnochio lot. The picture was taken from the goofy level. It really did look sad next to all the new ones. The new ones really are impressive.
