      Re: Crowds this Week

We just got back to the hotel room after having dinner at Goofy's Kitchen.

Upon our arrival this morning at DL, we found only four turnstile gates open...And barely 3 to 5 guests in each line!

City Hall was empty (again) when we went in to ask a question. Very light crowd around the Christmas Tree, so we got some great pics with the kids standing in front of it.

Most rides today were walk on or maybe 5 minutes of a wait.

This is the week to be here!

      Enjoy!

Most rides are walk on through out the day. 5 to 15 minutes tops. We are having a blast. Riding everything we want multiple times.
You can think I'm wrong, but that's no reason to quit thinking.

This is good news, I hope it keeps up. I'll be there Wed-Fri with my bestt friends and their kids, it should be fun. It seems so hit and miss with the crowds.

                Yeah, walk-ons everywhere!!!

We even walked up to the front of the Hub about 5 minutes before the fireworks began and didn't tick people off!

This week remains the best week to enjoy the Parks in our books!

                Enjoy!

                  Re: Crowds this Week

Just got back from Sun-Tues in the parks. Went the exact same days last year and it was quite a bit more crowded then (guess because of the 50th and all). This time had very light crowds; no problem seeing Parade and Fireworks right where we wanted by arriving 15 minutes early. Lines were very short, our longest wait was 20min. for Peter Pan Monday morning, but that's typical. Had lunch at Cafe Orleans Sunday, put our names in at 11:30 and got seating for 12 noon! Breakfast Monday at Carnation Cafe took 30 minutes from the time we walked up til we were paying our bill, and that was with 4 of us. The line to see Santa on Tuesday morning didn't extend outside of his house. DCA was a ghost town Sunday and Monday. All in all a great trip; beautiful weather, the Christmas decorations are beautiful, and no lines!
