It used to be all about the castle for me, probably even up to a few years ago.
But the more I go, the more I love New Orleans Square. I could spend the day there, just in NOS. I don't know why, I just love it so much, the music, the smells, the rides, the river, the decorations, I could just stay there!

You and I <eye to eye> I  us!! Must be a Sept. 11 thing
My favorite thing is experiencing a new ride/attraction for the first time. As far as something ongoing, I especially appreciate all the fauna that get to live in the park: feral cats, swans, ducks, the crayfish near Big Thunder and even the rodents. (The only non-human critter that ever grossed me out at DL was a GIANT cockroach that I saw on Main Street last July!)
It's always been the Haunted Mansion and PotC...
Since finally getting an AP, I've gained a whole new appreciation for Main Street, though - - when I was a kid it was just a corridor to hurry through to the rides, but it's been nice taking things slowly and just soaking in the atmosphere, eating, shopping...
It would have to be the sounds and ambiance of Disneyland. Whether it is entering Main Street and hearing " YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE, THE DISNEYLAND RAILROAD" or the sound of the Mark Twain bell and steam whistle blaring.
It's little things like this that add up.
1st Amendment-Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
I have to agree..I love the atmosphere of Disneyland. Its such a special place.
I love the castle. I reminds me of watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on sunday nights and wanting so much to be there. Then 20 years later I was able to move to Southern Calif and go there whenever I wanted. A dream come true.
I dont think I could say there is one thing I like best, because there are sooo many.
My favorite thing about Disneyland is sitting in Fantasyland near Dumbo and just watching all the happy children with their parents!! And this year I got to sit there and watch my happy child with his Dad!! Priceless!!
Walking down Main Street, down the middle and seeing the Partners Statue in front of the Castle, the magic is truly there! The best thing is, it the feeling never changes no matter how many times I take that walk!
Mom, remember, it's not what a person is like on the outside that counts,
