Kind of weird that escorts act like this. Sorry that happened to you.

Sorry to hear this happened to all of you. I'm glad it had a somewhat happy ending.
You handled it so well GC.

I don't think he crushed it.

As we on LoT know, he only made the moment more enjoyable by his 'out of the ordinary' behavior.

So, when are you free to do lunch with me ?

Talk about disgruntled! What a jerk. I hope the managers did more than a hand slap for that since it really did negatively affect your experience and even one of your pictures (by not having one group member in the pic).

I think one of the things about this story that is so shocking to me is that there are so many AMAZING CM's at the DLR that when you run into one with a total attitude it just catches you by surprise. You may have caught an individual who was having a horrible day and who, by the time you came, was already planning to leave for one reason or another. It sounds like he was pretty wound up by the time your group arrived and he just snapped. Some people can handle crowds and people talking back to you all day long, and others have a fairly short fuse and are not meant to do that type of work. This guy had the wrong job, and I'd be surprised if he's still working for Dinsey after that encounter.

So...it must have been like having cold water thrown on you. I'm sorry you guys had such a bad encounter with this rude CM. Talking directly to a manger was providencial and I'm pretty sure your voice was heard.

And the effects of the CM shortage are seen yet again...

If people don't like their jobs, then why do it? Nathaniel needs to be working someplace he likes.

Sorry to hear that happened! I'm glad the managers listened to the story and that you were all proactive and got your pic with Mickey again.

Such drama! Makes you kinda wonder about Nathaniel...

Anyway, I often see Mickey alone on Main Sreet. In fact, the first time we took my son, who is now 8, to Disneyland was Christmastime the year he was born, in 1998. He was only maybe 4 months old. We got there early and as we entered the tunnel onto Main Street, Mickey just happened to come out at the same time. We walked right up to him and the CM took a nice picture of me, my ex, and my son with Mickey. I always am so happy to think that this was his first experience of Disneyland! Although he for sure does not remember, hopefully it's imbedded in his subconcious somewhere...

Too bad about that CM's attitude. Geez, life is tough as a character handler...*LOL*

Way to hang in there, GC and take care of biz!

With that kind of personallity I would suggest a funeral home...

I am glad you were the type of people to find someone, get it done, and go on enjoying your day. Could you have seen it if that had been a family with kids and he refused. Good job!
