  • Disneyland Hotel - rollaway bed charge?

We are taking my nephew, (16 and over 6') with us, (just me and 2 kids) to stay at the DLH on Sunday.
I have requested 2 queen beds, but now think I should get a rollaway for my son. Is there a nightly charge for the rollaway?
Will it make the room too crowded?
I could not find any good info on the Disneyland site so, I knew were to go for answers.
    thanks,
    Julie

I know over the PPH we have a very limited number of rollaways, and typically we don't allow them in the rooms with 2 Queen sized beds anyway; the fire marshall won't allow it, and the DLH has the second smallest rooms of all three hotels. The good news is that some Queen rooms come with a sofa pullout. Calling and requesting one of those rooms is your best bet and there is no charge for that.
    -Good luck

Thank you. They list a rollaway or crib on the website, but I did not realize there was a daybed option - much better.

If that doesnt work we bring a instant blow-up mattress for my 6foot tall boy,it can be deflated every morning and easy to store.

With the size of most of the rooms there, I would hate to have a roll away bed taking up space. Hopefully you can get the daybed one/
If you see a cute yellow lab puppy with a yellow cape, WAVE! It might be us! (Or it may be someone else that lurks here!) Thank you for asking before you pet! Next trip, Dec 22-Jan 3rd.

Me too. Just called and made the request. We plan to check in early and just leave our bags so, hopefully we can wait for one.

A good idea is to also call the hotel at around 7am to put your request in again. The rooms are assigned on the day of check in and it can't hurt to remind them of your request.

                Yeah, the day-bed works well.

Chair by day, bed by night...

                Enjoy!

They don't charge extra for a rollaway. We've only used a rollaway in the suites, because when we had standard rooms, we always had ones with daybeds, so I don't know whether or not they have a space requirement at the DLH.

I've always wondered about the phrase...day bed.

Shouldn't it be Night bed? Since you're sleeping on it...you know, at night?
