  • Disneyland Railroad...has anyone else noticed

The hole in the glass at the start of the Grand Canyon Diorama that looks suspiciously like someone shot it with a BB gun? It's not something I've notcied before, since I havent' ridden the DLRR around to the Main Street Station in forever. It's also not as conspicuous as the famous bullet hole in the Haunted Mansion. Am I crazy? This is something recent correct? I'll try to get a picture of it soon, but since it's on the glass it might be difficult.

Actually I recall seeing it on our June trip and our March trip of this year, so it's been there since at least March of '07.

The bullet hole on Mansion happened at the same time as the one on the DLRR or so I hear.

I think it is a continuation of a bullet hole from the Haunted Mansion. I think i read about it in one of those Mouse Tales book. The books about the behind the scenes of Disneyland. I think i saw it in there.

I did notice it a few weeks ago when I went.
I'll look again in Oct or Nov when I go

It has been there for many long years. At least 10, probably much longer.

              Thanks Dusty,

I must be blind, after countless trips on the DLRR as an AP and while a CM (never worked the Attraction) I've never noticed it.

Anyone know what it actually is?

So in other words we're talking about a real glass hole here, am I right?

yes, oddly enough both holes were made by the same bullet! Now thats some Disney magic.

I wonder how many turns it would have to make to get from one location to the other?:geek:

Its been there since the 1970's. It is a bebe gun hole and goes through to the grand canyon painting.

Little know fact. Its actually a hole in the space time continuum that allows people to look into the past and see Dinosaurs.

That's right. It has been there since the 1970's. I could be wrong on this, but the same guy who shot the hole in the HM glass also did it here too.
