  • Superstar Limo Video

I couldn't believe it myself. But, that link that had the crazy effed up version of Disneyland in Nara Japan called Dream Land or something also had a video of Superstar Limo. I know there are many who would rather die than live through this hell again. But, I know there are some who are dyING to see the video. So, without any further ado.........

I saw that, and I am happy I could fast forward through it, let me tell you. Haha, I like the irony, "MIKE AND SULLY TO THE RESCUE!"

That was interesting, since I never got to ride it, even out of morbid curiosity. But why the hell was the agent an AA? It was a freaking video. Wouldn't it have been cheaper to get an actor?

I think the agent (and the reporter from the queue) were puppets.

It looked like a pupet to me, kinda like that Genesis video for land of confusion. but I never got to ride it too. so I'm not sure.

Ah yes, it does look like a puppet. My monitor's kind of far back on my desk and it was a small video, so all I could really tell was that it looked fake. Still doesn't seem to be much reason to use a puppet instead of a real actor there.

Yes, the agent and Joan Rivers (the reporter) were puppets on video, not AAs.

Hey, that wasn't all that bad. Some people on the internet made it sound extremly bad. It was 'ok'. :judge:

But, I'm a little slow on this subject, but why did it close again? A problem with the mechanics? Or was the ride really that horrible that they actually had to close it?

Superstar Limo was the first official casualty of Negative Internet Buzz for a Disney attraction...

The link isn't working. The error message is:
                        http://www.sharktums.com/superstarlimo.zip not available.

Has anyone gotten this to work?

I just watched the video. It downloads as a .zip file that must be extracted before viewing. Try again. Sometimes you'll get an error message if too many people are trying to download.

I never rode SSL in real life so this was my first look at it... and my last. It was truly horrid in so many ways. Sure, it's called a "dark ride" but the depressing purpleness of it all really didn't say, "Hollywood, California" to me. The sets bore no resemblence of the places they were depicting. If the point is to "transport" you to Hollywood... at least make it look like Hollywood. The "star" AAs were mostly just a lame roster of (who were then) current personalties from Disney-owned ABC. Most of their shows are now cancelled. So much for relevance and repeatability. The ride really seemed cheap, cheesy and pointless.

OMG! That was even worse then I remember it being. That agent guy was sooooo creepy. I always thought that the Cindy Crawford looked like a street walker.
