  • CheezWalk 2007 (so ridiculously picture heavy)

Micechat made history yesterday with an unprecedented migration in the middle of the noon meet. They left the hub to go to lunch, but it wasn't white water. Or even hungry bear. Heck they didn't even splurge by going to pizza port. Now if not eating at either of those isn't history enough, what could there possibly be left? For history to be made they would have to do the unthinkable -- they walked off property, as a group, to the new Anaheim Gardenwalk district to eat at the recently opened Cheesecake Factory.

Micechat began its trek down Main Street to leave the park. Security was quickly alerted. Several guards formed a human blockade. MonorailMan fought them off barefisted, killing two and leaving 3 badly injured and missing teeth.

A disgruntled MonorailMan jotting notes on his cellphone for a later email he plans on sending making fun of the aforementioned security guards' mothers.

The group covertly enters the esplanade, but as entrance gate cast members ignore the plight expecting them to cross over to DCA, one micechatter points to an opening in the gates and the group makes a juke left towards the security tents.

They can see the light! Security appears to have fallen back. Have they given up or have they regrouped for a final stand..

Secret service SUVs rapidly pull up blocking crosswalks and halting our progress with no option but to dash across a wide intersection.

Al scouted the intersection when Darkbeer shouted GO and the group went off, Al narrowly missing a resort bus that had targeted him. We were safe for now, travelling undetected underneath the buzzing powerlines to scramble their signals. We proceeded stealthily paralleling the path from the pumbaa lot as its walkers basked in the distracting display of patriotism to keep them from looking to their left.

Say goodbye to the happy fun path....

you have now entered the angry scary path of death!!

We surveyed the construction site as we walked along it. All of it would soon be a mall designed to attract tourists on their resort-offtime.

It even has fun attractions in the works. This one manages to combine the atmosphere of a doombuggy, the motion of a teacup, and the theming of paradise pier into a single fun-packed attraction for the family.

The path broke off finally into a finished sidewalk. The micechatters continued their leisurely Sunday stroll.

We arrived at the Cheesecake factory and it was time for lunch. Everyone was ecstatic.

The inside was very wide open and high-rising. It all felt very large even though the restaurant was still crammed into the rest of the room. Some couldn't take the spaciousness and fell into a gawking gaze...

It was all so nice inside that we decided to eat outside.

We were treated to a variety of food that folks ordered, beginning with Buffalo Blasts! Get ready screamers, this appetizer's a blast!

"Don't look now but you're on the internet.. WTF!?!"

One folk wasn't so lucky and was still waiting for his food to arrive

He wasn't timing or anything so he said

Theeeere it came. And they laughed it off

    and laughed it off...

    and laughed...

    and stopped and contemplated...

In the meantime someone was easily caught up in his own gesturing when he was taken by surprise

But now it was time to leave. We finished our business and made our way out, checking out the rest of the construction and possible future eating destination.

When low and behold, who was peeing in the bushes? Why fishy joined our ranks and fell into the group.

But we were still missing someone.. LOOK!

    *hackcoughgag* HI!!!

Which way? That way! And we were back having our dreams come true, all million of them, two million of them, for the years long.

Too many pictures for you? Good! =D

Weird. Our Cheesecake Factory has the exact same interior. It's freaking me out.

But now I can pretend I was there. What a great group and a happy birthday for Hastin!

Most cheesecake factories look the same but I'm used to it being very cramped and crowded right from walking in. This one had a nice big empty area to walk into an stare off at the space.

                        I'd say 9-17 dollars.

Yah... Cheesecake Factory is not cheap but they do give you pretty good sized portions.

Currently, Bubba Gumps and Cheesecake are open and they are both on the side of Gardenwalk facing the Katella Cast Member lot. PF Changs and one other location open next week.
