Re: The Off-Season schedule has been released!

...just to clarify, and I know this sounds like a stupid statement, but are these changes all after labor day, or are some of them going to take effect earlier, since my sister is going to DL in a week, she'd like to know...

Re: The Off-Season schedule has been released!

Due to a 7 PM closing for DCA, The Electrical Parade will not be offered from Monday August 29th thru Thursday, September 1st.

Everything else remains as currently scheduled thru Monday, September 5th (Labor Day).

The last showing of the Electrical Parade will be at 8 PM that night, if you want to say goodbye.

The last showing of Snow White will be at 5:30 that afternoon, if you want to say goodbye.

Thanks for the update! That sucks that the fireworks won't be going on Labor Day!!!! Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

            Two Questions:

            1. Where is the best place to watch the ELP?

            2. Where is the best spot to watch Fantasmic without paying extra?

            Thanks SO much!

Hey Darkbeer - any word or rumor if they will add more Fireworks show on during the Holiday season? And if it will be Remember... with snow or Holiday Fireworks?

I think that's cool that if they're only gonna do 1 parade of dreams they're gonna do the night version(as soon as it gets dark earlier and all).

Depending on what day of the week you are going, if you don't want crowds you could go over by Mullholland Madness near the beginning of the parade route. I took my niece over to watch on a Tuesday and there was barely any crowds down that way.

That absolutely sucks that there is no weekly fireworks. I know they don't do fantasmic on off-season weeknights, but I thought they were going to have the "Remember" show "every night" of the 50th celebration !!!!

I am from Vancouver, BC and only get up to Disney every 3-5 years, and will be there Sept 14-18. Fortunately I am there through the weekend, but I have to say I am bummed that I will have to cram in and see a (probably) overcrowded weekend showing, instead of a more sane weekday one.

Between CS being down, no weekday remember or fantasmic, no snow white, no haunted mansion and 8pm weeknight closures and I definately not impressed.

It looks really neat at night - the floats are lit up really well!
