  • Disney E-Ticket and Early Entry

I'm going to disneyland tomorrow!!! and I was wondering:
When you buy 2fer ticket (or any ticket online) do you get early entry into the park?

Last time I went to the disneyland resort, I bought e-tickets (first time I tried it) and we went to the park a little before it opened (first time I tried it) and I was astonished by the long entry lines. So my friend and I went in line and I looked to my left and saw at the edge of the entrance people were getting in the park! I went over there and above the turnstile it said "early entry" and gave the guy my e-ticket and he redeemed it for a normal ticket, then i got my friend and he let us in the park early!

Was this a mistake on the ticket-taker's part or do e-ticket holders get early admission?

(as a side note, my friend and I ran over to Space mountain because we love that ride and it was closed for the morning but we did get on Splash mountain before the park opened)

No, only 3 day or longer ParkHoppers get a "Magic Morning" (aka Early Entry).

As for your prior visit, it sounds like the CM made a mistake.

Yes. The eticket is cheaper then most 'discount' tickets you'll find anywhere people (hotels, etc) try to sell around the parks. No reason not to buy tickets online - its great.

Only SoCal discounts are better as I recall.
