  • Disneyland, I'm coming back...

Well, it's been over 2 and a half years since I was in the Happiest Place on Earth (granted I was in the fifth happiest place on earth 18 months ago), but Disneyland - I'm finally coming back.

I'm two hours away from heading to the airport. Then it's only a few more hours processing through the airport; 13 more on a plane and however long it takes to get to the Grand Californian.

I look forward to see the place, and no doubt some MiceChatters, in...er...somebody do the math(s) please!

(Just thought I'd share. I ain't half excited if you can't tell already )

It's the weekend so my brain is on vacation and I can't do the math. Glad to read that you are excited for your upcoming trip down to Disneyland, hope to get to meet you when you're down here!

With the Dateline won't you arrive before you left? So I'm guessing -5.5 hours.

          That's a breeze. It's the 31 hours ride home that's a killer.

Yes, I lose a day somewhere there on the way home. Of course, having two Mondays in a row is a mind spinner.

So, I've just had my first day in 2.5 years in Disneyland, and strange enough, it was right where I left it. We took advantage of the Magical Morning, went straight to Nemo and it still took us over an hour to get on. That was the only thing we had to wait for, I had a dream run all day.

Full report with photos forthcoming, but I must say I'm LOVING staying at the Grand Californian. Napa Rose was a magnificent meal, and they went all out accomodating this vegetarian. Wine selection was amazing (thing was a phone book). but our server recommended a lovely drop.
