  • [Question] Recent review on Carousel Inn?? Anyone?

Has anyone recently (in the past 3 months) stayed at the Carousel Inn? Can you please share your experience? I am thinking about staying there. I know Carousel is "Micechat approved" but I don't really understand what it means by "approved." In what area does it "approve?"

    Thank you all in advance.

I usually ignore reviews with 1 star or 5 stars. Also, check how many reviews a person has made. If they have just one I don't always trust them. Carousel Inn and Suites (Anaheim, CA): See 627 Hotel Reviews and 89 Photos - TripAdvisor

"Approved" means the hotel has special rates and extras for MC members. If you call and ask for a MC rate, you'll get a big discount on your room, as well as having valet parking and those insidious "resort fees" waived.

It's a great little place. I've stayed there several times over the years. Despite being an older property, the years have been kind.

Please Note!!! The Micechat rate DOES include FREE PARKING however a $2 Resort Fee per Night is NOT INCLUDED!

I stayed there in August and it was a great little hotel. The rooms were nice and clean but a little on the small side. The big old tv cabinet didnt help either, but it had a fridge with a freezer which helped out a lot for freezing water since it was pushing a 100 our whole trip. The beds were good but the pillows were way to soft. The breakfast was good start to the day. Some hard boiled eggs, bread to toas,t bagels i thin,k cereal, pastries, some fruit, juice and milk. Best part of the breakfast room was the view of Disneyland. Probably the best one in the whole resort area. The micechat rate was great $89 with free parking and a short walk to DLR. The only reason it is valet is because their parking lot is small. I would defenitly reccomend this hotel.
