  • Just a question about the NR Chef's Table/Counter

    My wife and I are going to DL for a week in May with heer family, and our 10th anniversary is during our stay. I was thinking that we might go out to a nice dinner on our anniversary. I was originally leaning towards the Npa Rose anyways, but now that I have read some about the Chef's Counter, I have a question. My wife had gastric bypass surgery a little over a year ago. I realize that you are able to order as little or as much as you want at the CC, just as anywhere else in the restaurant, but would the CC still be worth trying out, even if 1 of us would not be eating very much, and is it something that the chef would likely take into consideration if we chose to let him/her decide on our menu? Thanks.

    Napa Rose will take care of you. Call them ahead of time n' let them know your stats.
    Just countin' the days til the next visit!

      It will be worth it.....no matter what kind of dietary needs your wife may have.

        Thanks, for the info. Now comes the hard part, convincing my wife that paying anywhere from $100-$200 (since she can't have alcohol post-surgery, and I drink very little, myself) is an OK splurge for this one event...especially since we probably won't be buying much in the way of souvenirs, anyways.
