  • [Question] Where to unwind after closing

My friends were a little dismayed to hear of the closure of the Lost Bar . . . as this was the only place that they know of to be able to have a drink and a cigarette after all the festivities of the day.

So now they gave me the task of finding somewhere else.

They know of the UVA bar . . . but that usually closes around 11ish. They are the type of peoples that like to enjoy their drinks till "closing time". (Frankly I don't know why ... they can't get up early to enjoy a morning in the parks )

Anyhow . . . anyone know of some other place in the resort area that they can enjoy their smokes and cocktails?

    Thanks in advance!

House of Blues maybe??? Anaheim isn't a real "nightlife" type city. You can take a taxi to downtown Fullerton where there is some nightlife, or head down to Downtown Huntington Beach, you'll find places to hang out there - Only about a 30 minute taxi from Disneyland area.

I've suggested "off-site" places to them .. but they want to stay in walking distance of the resort/motel (Anaheim Plaza).

I forgot about the Garden Walk area. This is within' walking distance. There are a few places to hang out.

        Link to the area.
The Shops at Anaheim GardenWalk | Shopping, Dining, Entertainment in Orange County

        This place specifically.

Oh .. I've heard yes/no on the Hearthstone ... that there is an outside/patio area where you can have a drink and smoke ... does anyone know if this is true or not?

This is California. The smoking section is located in Arizona.
              Thank you!

Not anymore, AZ has followed CA in the anti-smoking laws.

This is TRUE. Just returned from the resort a few days ago and having had a few drinks at Hearthstone, I can confirm that you can smoke outside and bring your drink from the Bar.

                    Good for them.
Nevada allows a lot of smoking.

The hearthstone is really great. There's an outdoor area for smoking. there are ashtrays there for you and there's a fire for when it's colder in the winter

                        My best score ever!
