I looked thru Yesterland but I couldn't find an article for the Fantasy Waters show at the Disneyland Hotel. With World of Color premiering this week, I think it would be fitting if Werner did an article on World of Color's predecessor.

I have never in my life heard of this. Oh, my lack of DLR experience.

[But I'm pretty good with the information, if I do say so myself. And you can hit me all you want with Walt Disney World.])

A MiceChatters talked about the water show at Disneland Hotel once and made a thread about it, a few years back. That would had been interesting to watch while you were at the Disneyland Hotel.

That thread should be atleast 4 years old now. I knew about it before my first trip to Disneyland and was trying to find it where they would have had it.

I actually never got to see the show as I never went to the hotel at night, but I did see where it was located when I went there during the day. It was tucked away in the corner near where the waterfalls are.

Oh man, classic! I remember staying in the DLH tower that is/was right next to the water fall area. You could open up your balcony door and relax on the bed, taking in the sounds of water rushing over the rocks and all types of tomfooleries that go along with areas like this. To the left (when the pools were more sprawling and took on more of an open-grotto affect, was the Fantasy Waters "set". Unimposing, this area seemed a little dated. It almost made you sad to look at it, like any aspect of something you love that has been neglected.

I am not sure that the show ever stopped me in my tracks...but it was nice enough for a hotel attraction.
Ah, how strange! The molecules are so active now!
