Actually, you may want to wear customers in any case, just to make the photo more fun.
Make sure to ask permission of the other customers before you wear them - it's only polite!

Great column, I actually had never seen this particular store - by the time I made my first visit to DCA, it was long gone.

Holy moly! I never thought that DCA had looked THAT bad when it opened.

But damn...those pictures practically made DCA lifeless!

Though discussed from time to time on Mice Chat, I've yet to see a thorough piece written on the Kodak photo shop that used to be on Main Street in the 1980's-1990s. Guests would enter, choose one of a number of different fantasy backgrounds, dress in appropriate costume and have your picture snapped. You would then leave to enjoy your day at the park and on leaving for the day, stop by to pick up your print. The folks at Kodak would have magically inserted your image into a fantasy print.
I have one of my future wife and myself dressed as pirates aboard a small dinghy surrounded by treasure and being led by Captain Mickey.
I honestly can't remember exactly which storefront it was, but as I recall it was on the east side near the Crystal Arrcade.
        Thanks again Wener!

The pictures of the bare stucco walls tell it all...I wouldn't be surprised if Paul Pressler wanted this store to be considered an 'attraction'

I never even noticed this at DCA before it closed. Then again, I never felt the need to walk from Screamin' to the MaliBOOMer when I was there.

I refused to spend the $ to enter that park till I got my AP last year; Can anyone tell if the Paradise Pier sign is the same sign that they put over the Screamin' loop?
Its the same style, but I can't tell the scale from the photo.

It's not the same sign. The font may be similar, but the sign there is full of popcorn lights, whereas the sign on Screamin' is much larger and is illuminated in a solid red.

My family had fun at this shop. Wish they had moved it somewhere else in the park, it was really neat.
