  • [Chat] Disney's Power of Music!

This thread is to discuss the upcoming Tokyo Disneyland Event, Disney's Power of Music, starting January 20 through March 19, 2010.

Fun rhythms, melodies that will get you singing along, harmonies that resonate with your soul. In this special Disney music festival, music brings everyone together. On the great big stage set up in the plaza in front of Cinderella Castle, Mickey gathers his musician friends together for powerful and colorful live performances. Come sing and dance with the Disney friends, and be moved by the Power of Music!

Interesting that it will be live performances. I wonder if it will be something along the lines of Mickey's drumming in Big Band Beat. I can't imagine they would do a castle stage show entirely live like that. They have to let the characters speak. Still, sounds like it could be fun, and from the description, we still don't know what kinds of music will be represented.

What I'm excited about is that its a return of the Castle Stage Show. Anyone know if it will be similar to Tokyo DisneySea's Rhythms of the World?

Its looking very likely I'll be making the trip from Osaka down to Tokyo to try and attempt to win seating for this event, even if its only for the day. I will have a Rail Pass so may as well make the most of it.

Well, it could also be like "Club Disney". I'll bet there will be some pop or dance music thrown in there somewhere.

I'm guessing each of the main Characters will represent a differnt music genre, so its quite possible we will see a Club Disney style number thrown in somewhere.
