Not to happy about Halloween Street returning...

I hope that the replacment for mysterious masquerade will be as good if not better. Though I think it will be difficult to top.

They need to replace Halloween Street or add new floats, three years is to long for a Seasonal Parade at TDR

Let me tell you that Halloween Street will have a minor makeover of the parade not only the cotumes but also some new songs youll be hearing when the show stops on the street.

Well maybe they're saving for something else for next years halloween,so its kinda stayed that long.when you read the article on the 30th anniversary press release youll notice that seasonal events will have new experiences and surprises will be in store for next year.

3 years is generally the min for a seasonal parade, so I did not expect a new parade this year at all.

Halloween Day Dream is not a replacement for Mysterious Masquarade. THis will be a harbour show, a stage show in the American Waterfront area does not seem to be coming back for awhile.

I am going to assume they want to really bring alot of entertainment for TDRs 30th!

I believe that they anticipate the American Waterfront area to be very busy once Toy Story Mania opens. Not enough space for the show and the crowds.

I was also thinking this as well. With two stage shows, tower, and TSM in that area it is going to be a very busy area.

I am not surprised that we're getting Halloween Street for the third year.
Aside from the fact that I think it's one of the best Halloween parades they've done, next year (2013) is the 30th anniversary, and that is when I expect to see new versions of all seasonal events. So changing it up this year would be premature.

                And thanks for the link!!!

Oops: they've removed the pdf file. Wonder if it was posted prematurely or stated incorrect information.

                Stay tuned!

I am so confused. I got that Halloween Street s returning with Mickey and Minnie in new costumes (why everyone isn't in a new costume, I have no idea). TDS is getting a new show themed to a carnival, unfortunately, without a night show version.

Google translations are only good for gleaning a few details since so much of it comes out as gibberish. I've tried Bing and other free online translation programs but none of them are particularly good.

I'm hoping this is a typo, but I noticed that the translation said that Mickey will be turned into the devil. Please God I hope this is wrong, how will that even look?

*Return of Halloween Street ( Mickey/Minnie Costume change)
The Halloween Parades usually only stick around for two years. So interesting to see this one going into its third year. But like others have said it kind of makes sense with the 30th Anniversary coming up in 2013. Its rather comical to see them promote the Mickey costume change as a new addition. The main purpose for this isn't to refresh the parade but to sell a new range of merchandise items featuring Mickey in new costume.

Halloween Day Dream - Mediterranean Harbor 25 minutes - twice daily (110 performers)
I'm already showing a lack of interest to this idea.

                            He'll look ... devilish?
They've turned the characters into pumpkins, skulls, ghosts, mummies (that one didn't seem to stick around too long), so why not the devil? This isn't a Christian culture--all Shinto and Buddhists. There's no Christ in either their Christmas or Easter.

It's probably my Catholic self overthinking it. But can i see a pic of the mummies, I'm curious. Also, I'm pretty sure there is a 1 to 6 percent minority of Christians living in Japan, so I'm curious about how they are going to please everyone.
