  • News Renewed float on Dreamlights Christmas.

Since the start of Christmas Fantasy 2013 there have been a minor change in floats particularly Pete's dragon has changed if you search on YouTube you'll see the float has changed and Pete's position has changed too plus don't forget the Christmas overlay this which is fantastic.

How about a link to a video so I don't have to search?

I always found it odd how there's a Pete's Dragon float in the parade since it's a relatively obscure Disney movie. You would think that movies like Dumbo or Bambi would get a float before Pete's Dragon.

Promotion for when the film came out, people liked the big green dragon, it stayed, it's now iconic.

Tokyo Disneyland still has events/shows/parades that include Clarabelle Cow and Horace Horsecollar. They are well-known to many Japanese guests as being among Mickey Mouse's oldest friends.

Does anyone think TDL will ever replace Dreamlights?

I hope not. Dreamlights is the best parade at any Disney park EVER. They keep upgrading it, so folks don't get tired of it. They've replaced and/or upgraded most of the floats over the years. If you want to see how good it is, find a video of the original Main Street Electrical Parade, which is positively primitive by comparison.
