  • Spanish Safety Spiel...help

I got a question I really hope someone can answer. On most of the Spanish Safety spiels, they say something that sounds like "para sous es cuidado." How do you really say it? They do this in most of the new spanish safety spiels (including Magic Carpets of Aladdin). For some reason, I really like this phrase, but I know I'm not saying it right.

I've found that bringing your spanish-speaking friend to Disneyland usually helps, although she doesn't know it by heart yet.

"Remain seated, please," I THINK is "Permane ser sentado, por favor."

In regards to the OP, are you sure they're not saying, "para su seguridad?"

Thank you so much, I am 99% sure that's it (and the translation makes sense too). Beyond "Por favor mantanganse alejado de las puertas", I don't know much spanish (I take French in school). Thanks again.

"para su seguridad"- I think that one is something like keep your belts fastened (in regards to Aladdin, only some rides say this).

"Permane ser sentado, por favor."-Like lafantasma said this is remain seated.

Then there is the monorail spiel which is world famous.

It is usually: Para Su Seguridad Mantangean Los Manos, Brazos, Pies y Piernas Dentro De La something or other.

The spiels go something like this... "Para su seguridad (for your safety), mantenga sus manos, brazos, pies y piernas dentro del vehicle (keep your arms, hands, feet and legs inside the vehicle) y cuide a sus pequenitos por favor (and watch over your little ones please), gracias (thank you)". "Mantanganse alejado de las puertas, por favor" means 'Stay away from the doors, please." 'Keep your (safety) seatbelts fastened' goes "abroche su cinturon de seguridad"

Hope that helps a bit (which translates into "espero que esto te ayude un poco").

Ah right, I can hear it in my head now. I remember for the first phrase they either say "dentro del vehiculo" or "dentro del tren" depending on what kind of ride vehicle it is. I've also heard "y cuiden a sus ninos" for the last part instead of the "pequenitos."

my fav is at a local mall, "you are entering the white seahorse enterance." "ustds se pasado la entrada, white seahorse" sounds funny when they go back to english for the name.
