  • [Fun] imagine a hotel inside the Magic Kingdom?

Do you think Disney will place a hotel in the Magic Kingdom?

Wouldn't it be cool to have access to a theme park like what Tokyo Disneysea has with the Miracosta Hotel?

I LOVE the hotel guest entrance at MiraCosta. It really gives you a head start over the rest of the guests!

Disneyland Paris proves that a similar concept can work at a Magic Kingdom, but I doubt they'll ever do it at WDW.

Maybe in a another theme park in the distant future.

I think the closest the Magic Kingdom will get to that is the Room in Cindy's castle.

I think that would be a really great idea, it's not like they don't have the ability or the space to do it.

The Contemporary is pretty close to the park - walking distance even. I think putting a Disneyland Paris Hotel type structure in front of the Magic Kingdom would ruin the views from the lake.

Now, putting a hotel west of the park in the Frontierland area would be a great place.

Oh definitely not in FRONT, I thought on the side or even the backside would be a better location for one. The front is the beginning of that amazing journey as you get closer, you just can't ruin that!

I am sure there is planty of noise and 'non-magical' stuff going on at night in the parks - power washing streets, replacing light bulbs, etc.
I don't know how they could preserve the magic - and allow people with a view of the park to get a quite night's rest!

That's a good point! Naturally you'd want a room facing the park, but then you'd see it all indecent. In a perfect world, though, an Old West themed hotel off Frontierland would be a lot of fun.

Well.. considering the Mk has the crappiest looking turnstyle awning of any of the DL-style parks... a victorian style hotel in that area would be a major improvement. However, I do not ever see a hotel being built at the MK anywhere.

It's possible. I've had a view of Tokyo DisneySea at the MiraCosta twice, and noise was not a factor. And if anything seeing Tokyo CMs maintain the park is very impressive and interesting. An attention to detail unlike what we would see stateside.

Well maybe not exactly in the parks but Disney World has the hotels on the monorail which have direct access without being directly in the parks. Actually it gives you the best of both worlds considering it gets you better access to the other parks than a hotel in Magic Kingdom would!

                          Doesn't WDW have enough hotels?

That would be pretty intersting and cool.

I think they should do a hotel like they did with the hotel at California Adventure, it gives you access to the park and it's a lot faster.

                            Good concept
