  • [Fun] If you could live anywhere in WDW where would it be?

Ok so this is just for fun...

You are given the ability to turn any attraction, or venue inside any of the Disney theme parks into your home. What attraction or venue would you choose, what would you do with it and why?

    I will go first...

I would live at the Great Movie Ride. I would keep the queue as a great entry way into the rest of the house.

Then the Movie theater, would be a game room, with lots of activities. I would then turn the ride load room into a living room and kitchen.

Mary Poppins would be a kids room, with Tarzan being a guest room. Alien and the Horror Movie room would be for laser tag. Oz would be the master bedroom, and the end room would be for TV watching.... lol It would be a grand house. lol

      The castle.
      Good morning, son
      In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
      It was pain
      Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

The Haunted Mansion. As a aspiring horror-writer, the tales I could weave in that atmosphere! And think of the Halloween parties!

But there's a quiet to the home I appreicate too. A sense of foreboding, perhaps, but it has it's quiet times as well.

I've also wondered what it would be like to live in the spires of Space Mountain. I know, it sounds weird, but thinking again as a creative writer, the spirit that would be up there--to imagine a city of tomorrow, hmm, that just sound so intriguing.

Whoa. That was deep. Someone tell a fart joke or something.

                Peace,
                Roo

A house on Main Street, USA

And I'd attend Roo719's Halloween parties.

I would live in The Land Pavilion at Epcot 2010.

I am so going to go with the food...have you had the blondies they have in there?

Come to think of it, can I just cut off the World Showcase and enslave the employees and call it "RooPlanet?"

Can you image the meals I could ahve? I'd look like Jabba! Jabba the Roo!

I'd say somewhere in the Boardwalk, or the castle of course

Hmm... The Mexico Pavilion would be great. Each of the shops inside could be a room. And then, if we could turn one of the boats on the ride into a dining room, you could ride through the ride while you eat! And I'd have a big front yard and a great view of the lagoon from the IllumiNations control room at the top of the pyramid.

Swiss Family Treehouse could, of course, be amazing. Vacation home?

The Haunted Mansion would also be great. I'd love living there and being the guests of all those 999 ghosts. I'd have to kick Constance out though... (Good riddance!)

Speaking of people/birds I'd like to kick out, the Enchanted Tiki Room would be magical.

(I've never visited Disneyland Resort, Tokyo Disney Resort, Disneyland Resort Paris, nor Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, so don't be fooled when I pretend to know what I'm talking about. [But I'm pretty good with the information, if I do say so myself. And you can hit me all you want with Walt Disney World.])

I've often thought I'd like to have a suite of rooms at Polynesian Village or the Contemporary Resort.

The castle seems a good idea too.

Also - it would be fun to live "above the shop" in either Mainstreet USA or the countries of World Showcase at EPCOT.
