Here's an article to explain some of the plans posted here.

        It's from Mouse Unlimited.

I must say I am also SUPER confused. Ok so there are theater,s and ride vehicles... do the Ride Vehicles enter the theaters? or are these 2 separate attractions?

It is different than what I imagined, which is a land with an interactive Mother Tree in the center of Avatarland and various attraction surrounding it.

This land seems so much like Universal Studios Hollywood where they have the Simpsons on several levels and a boat ride around it (tram like). There is no focal point. It's industrial buildings and concrete. Or so it seem.

So their big E-ticket to rival the Harry Potter 3D flying simulator is an Avatar 3D flying simulator. Nothing like trying to top pigs with pigs.

I don't care much for Avatar and as far as Soarin' goes I could take it or leave it. So for me this is snoresville all around. There's a boat though. I like boat rides. I'd prefer a not-Avatar boat ride, but what can you do?

The show building is enormous. Just a rough estimate based upon the Soarin' show building addition to The Land, which is approximately 60,000 sq.ft.. If each theater is essentially a double, though take into account that it each new theater is more likely to be 1.5x the size of the first generation flying Imax theaters (my term), and there are 4 theaters. From SOarin' I'll assume that the queue uses 20,000 and 20,000 for each theater.

So if the Avatar theaters are about 1.5x the size that gives us 30,000 sq.ft. per theater, by 4 theaters. I will assume another 20,000 sq.ft. for the queue. So my guesstimate of 120,000 for the the theaters and another 20,000 for the queue (not including boat ride), this building will easily be 130-140,000 sq.ft.; not including the multiple levels for the queue, etc. That's double Space Mountain! WOW!

Its rather ignorant of you to call Harry Potter a "3D flying simulator."

Whats sad is that a giant simulator is suppose to top the most technologically advanced, comprehensive, and IMO one of the best dark rides on the planet. A simulator vs a multi-media dark ride.

OK, it's a giant, technologically advanced, comprehensive multi-media 3D Flying Simulator...

So two rides instead of three.

WTF where is the Tron Lightcycle like ride that was planned? That was supposed to be the major e-ticket and Cameron was very excited about it. It was going to use the same ride tech as the Tron ride going to Shanghai
