Wow, any word on what's going to replace them? That's DHS's only parade.
    Current coaster count: 179
100th coaster: Phantom's Revenge at Kennywood
    150th coaster: Intimidator at Carowinds
last new park addition: Six Flags Great America

No mention of a replacement yet, but word going around is that this MIGHT have to do with DHS's rumored expansion.

According to Disney they dropped the parade off the schedule after the 6th. Could be an error.

A poster on the other board said that Entertainment cast members were informed of the news on Friday. I'm not too sure that the schedule was an error. We'll have to wait and see.

They should not close something unless something will replace it.
The new Star Wars plot summery:

Episode 7: Luke discovers that Darth Vader is not his father, and goes on a search for his real father

Episode 8: Darth Vader is resurrected and goes on Jerry Springer, claiming he is Luke and Leia's father

Episode 9: Princes Leia is not Luke's sister, making him furious (we all know why...).

Nothing needs to replace a lackluster parade and a show based on old Disney channel stuff. That money can be spent better elsewhere.

Exactly. The parade wasn't awful, but I certainly won't miss it.

Well, the parade itself is a shameful remnant of Block Party, but aside from that, if they need to start re-routing stuff to accomodate a new land, they shouldn't be pulling the entertainment until ground breaking begins. Gonna be some guest complaints.

I'm sure they will think of something in some way, however I'm not exactly sure of what they would do for a theme. I would say classic Hollywood theme, but that doesn't seem to be their focus really anymore. Instead of making another parade I'd much rather prefer they try to help out GMR and focus on that. Not a parade, but it's ride that needs some attention.
